teamLab Planets TOKYO Takes Visitors One Step Beyond

On July 7, renowned digital art collective, teamLab, opened its doors what may be its most ambitious project yet, teamLab Planets TOKYO, in Toyosu, Tokyo.

teamLab Planets TOKYO exhibits a number of interactive digital installations of light and sound spanning across a 10,000 square meter space. Visitors of the exhibition step into a colorful world of multi-dimensional artworks that move and transform depending on the viewers’ interactions. teamLab suggests that this immersive experience, taps the five senses, blurs the lines between “the body and the work”, and stirs people’s imagination on their relationship with the world.
The digital exhibition will be open for a period of two years, until fall of 2020. Get a closer look at each installation from teamLab Planets TOKYO here — via My Modern Met.
